Crossroads Communications, Inc. is the new name of Equity One Media Partners. EOMP was founded in 1990 by Mike Petersen, Dan Lacy, and 4 other individuals who are no longer associated with the company.

In order to have a simpler business structure, EOMP was dissolved immediately after the purchase of WAXI in June of 1998. A subsidiary Crossroads Communications LLC. owns WSDM, WSDX, WAXI, and WBOW AM and WBOW FM.
